The new heart of the Vail Valley, Edwards has boomed over the past five years, and is now home to the majority of locals in the valley. The small yet lively town center is filled with shops, restaurants, bars and a movie theater. The peaceful neighborhoods of Singletree and Homestead feature fitness facilities, pools, tennis courts and a golf course. Backcountry trails, a paved bike path along the Eagle River, and Freedom Park featuring soccer and baseball fields, volleyball courts, playgrounds and a skate park and dog park, keep families close to home with the endless activities offered.
Edwards has just approved its newest addition, The West End, a commercial and residential development that will back up to the Eagle River Preserve, offering locals and visitors alike another social outlet and residential source.
