Only four miles away from the Village and tucked under the Gore Range at the base of Vail Pass, East Vail is a favorite of locals and Front Range visitors. As a strictly residential area, it offers peace and tranquility as well as sweeping views of its high alpine surroundings. East Vail residents enjoy the many conveniently located hiking trails, a large dog park on the Eagle River, and several waterfalls along the north facing slopes. East Vail is convenient to the heart of town by the free bus system yet maintains moderate property prices in comparison.
